3rd party cards for Google Now is limited to select apps/companies at the moment – it’s not an openly available API but it is something we’d like to add!
Hey @Will Stephenson, I had a quick look for you and it doesn't seem there is an interface (suitable for MSL) available yet.
I think the app syncs whenever it can and needs to whenever it is open..
I think the overall quality of My Study Life would deteriorate if such features were implemented. My Study Life should do what it was created to do, and do it well. Similarly, there are many other applications that do what you're describing, and do it very well.
Make use of Google Keep, Evernote, Google Calendar.
And, this is not "My Life Life" :)
Isn't a reminder for it sufficient enough?
Hm, assigning separate rotation schedules for schedules on demand is a good idea.
Is this at the same time? You can just add another class for the different teachers, assigning different times to the class.
Whilst a good idea, I imagine that MyStudyLife would have issues dealing with abuse of uploaded content as well as handling all the data that is stored.
Of course, the best way around this is to add integration with Dropbox, Google Drive, and other third-party storage services (such as Windows Skydrive)
In V4, you can now swipe to switch between weeks and months.
In response to Anon's comment: "[..] I had picked the same color for more than once [sic] class [..]"
- Maybe it would be better to notify the user with a subtle exclamation mark if the color has already been used? This, however, would be incompatible with the color picker because of color shading issues.
Whilst this is a good idea, don't forget that there are other product that are built just for this. Take a look at Evernote or Google Keep :)
I agree, this Friday I have a two part computing mock - half the exam is in the morning (first period) and the second half is in the afternoon (last period). Next year I have a ten hour exam that takes place during classes.
At the moment I've just created two exams with "Part 1" and "Part 2" in the Module section, but this isn't very clean and doesn't work well with revision asks.
Here in the UK, closing down a school due to snow is solely evaluated by the school staff so gathering data from every school and their unique websites will be *extremely difficult*.
Personally, I think an automated weather-based holiday is a *veerrryy* bad idea because of the all false positives - most schools will first evaluate whether to close down their school based on true conditions in the morning - not just because the weather said it's going to be a bad day tomorrow.
The new holiday system could be adapted to allow you to set today as a holiday with a simple click. For now you will just have to manually create holidays when you're lucky enough to get one :)
