How can we make My Study Life better?

Be able to add extra-curricular activities and events

On Timetable add extra 'planner-like' events
For example:
After school clubs (ex: 2:20-3:30pm)
Music lessons (ex: 3:00-4:00pm)
Exercise at the gym (ex: 5:00-6:00pm)
Break times like dinner, tv, etc in 15-45minute intervals

For working students, having a calendar that can block off times when they have to be at work would be a great added feature. This will aide in scheduling studying time, to have a visual of times that are not available for school work.

I agree and work also like to have schedule displayed on home screen when I turn on devices. This way I will be reminded of assignment that need to be completed. Maybe use an alarm setting as a reminder or email. To add appointments or other reminders therefore I don't need to use several different apps or not this one at all. Incorporating a timer during study times would also be helpful. I have learning disabilities and need to be reminded to move on to next assignment. Thanks for this app.

Definitely! I have a piano lesson out of school and I go to various after school clubs, and it'd be nice to keep track of them. It would need a more flexible way to schedule them than 'classes' as extra-curricular activities are more prone to being changed/cancelled.

My personal study life involves my job and event s happening at school

If we can add other events just as we add tasks, it would really help schedule better!

I agree! One of my classes requires going to a work days for the theatre department and I'd like to be able to keep track of that kind of thing

Yes! For example, I have a dentist appointment which I can't put into My Study Life.

I like that this app is separate from other life. It needs to sync with my google calendar though. So that when planning/scheduling on google calendar I will see my class schedule. but I don't want to see my life schedule on this app.

        GREAT UI, BTW!!!
I was recommended to try studious and my study life...I tried studious first and quickly became frustrated with the ui. So far I really like this app. I particularly like the layout of the ui and the buttons on the left hand column (tasks, exams, etc.) very practical and intuitive.

Would be nice to be able to add offices (ie schoold of business, room #, email blah blah) of your school

With this, to ensure all our colour coding stays consistent can you please add more colours that we can pick and make ourselves?

By being able to add the extra activities in which we do, as well as our usual classes, it will make it much more efficient for both students and teachers to arrange around any extra time they have.

This. I want to include my work schedule which doesn't stop for holidays and breaks, but is a part of my daily schedule. I put work as a class, but then when there is a break, it takes work out, and if I have just one day off, I can't seem to figure out how to delete just one session. So I end up creating a one day "holiday" to omit work from the schedule.

I want to be able to input other events I have going on during the week that are not part of my class schedule but still need to be scheduled into my calendar for better time management. I have all my classes fixed but can I input a workshop or even that happens on Saturday from 8:00am-4:00pm or whatever. please!!!!!!!!!!

Some days I have field trips which aren't actual holidays, so I would like to be able to see the classes or input other activities after (I currently have after school activities as separate classes)

I usually put them as exams if there one time or set as a class.

this would be so helpful so that I can base my whole life around one app instead of multiple tools

This would be an absolute godsend for those using this for college. I would caution against direct integration into the class schedule or calendar though. It would be very useful to have a separate "tab" potentially termed Activities much like how calendar, tasks, and exams are each their own. This would allow students to see what their classes are, independently from what their extracurricular activities are. To make this really useful, I would allow for the task to be repeated weekly on certain days of the week as well as repeated on dates. While classes may meet weekly, it doesn't mean the task will occur every week on the certain day but it very well may occur on multiple dates throughout the month. For the calendar View, default should show Classes, Activities, and Exams, but should also allow for viewing of these elements independently from one another. It would also be nice if the tasks menu could then be divided into a "Class Task" and "Activity Task" so as to further optimize effectiveness for students. just my thoughts having used the app for 2 years.

        Great idea

This would be especially useful when those extracurricular activities have tasks/duties that are due as well (e.g. designing a flyer for a club)
