Lack of enough options in Tasks "type" section
When you go add a Task it gives the options:
more options could be used:
and most important in my opinion is 'Other/Costume' to have yours.
It would be great to have these options, especially since the exams option is so limited!! Many classes have weekly quizzes and need to be entered as such!
Boosting for support.
Sometimes my task list fills up with completed tasks which are not due in for a couple of days. It is hard to distinguish which are completed or not. if there was an option to just show incomplete tasks, it would be appreciated. https://img.clippp.com/3dde2fa1b0eb2a82f3f299b3a5614816_anniversary-wishes-for-couples-wedding-anniversary-quotes-and-anniversary-wedding-wishes_640-480.jpeg
I am an extramural student so would like one of the options to be 'self directed learning'

Also ... a color option for tests only (to view quiz and exams more easily in the calendar)

I don't think this should be a high priority... It just changes some label of a task, but in practice there's no difference whether it's a quiz or a test; you need to study for it (there's already the Revision type for that). Moreover, it's possible to add this information in the title or notes section if absolutely necessary and hard-to-remember otherwise.
Lastly, I honestly believe people do remember the types of tasks they have written down. Would someone actually think that their final is some petty test if it's not labeled as a final?

This feature would be identical to the "Exams" feature, but it would be utilized to add papers, presentations, and large assignments of the like.
Definitely would love readings
