The 2.x update released in November was a rewrite from HTML5 to native, this should fix the performance problems.
I suggest you let users choose wether they want still or moving text at the dashboard. Honestly it makes me a bit dizzy, and makes it hard to focus on work.3 votes
In the next major release (2.1, out in a couple of weeks) we have slowed down the animations and they also pause on hover.
The animation smoothness should be improved but will ultimately depend on your computer’s hardware.
The current apps livetile is very pixalated and crammed with information. If a landscape tile was added, it would work a lot better.4 votes
The UI for the new My Study Life is quite excellent and I love it. However, I am a user of the Windows 8/Phone version, and am stuck with the boring old grey UI and logo. I would love it if the original platforms were not forgotten about.3 votes
Completed in Windows 8 2.0 and Windows Phone 4.0
Come up with funkier colour schemes, some may like the businessy dark colours but I'm at uni so I need something to brighten up my day

The next version of the web app (2.1) is a little brighter and fresher – the colour scheme hasn’t changed but it is slightly brighter :)
Be able to enter when the semester starts and ends, also be able to cancle classes for a week... i.e reading week!523 votes
The ability to add one off classes, classes which occur more than once a day, classes which don't occur on the same day each week, start/end date for classes etc.
"I'm a University student, and my timetable isn't constant week in, week out. For example I have tutorials and workshops on certain weeks during the year and there is no option for me to enter this, because your timetable is based on people that have consistent classes. Expanding this to include a greater range of options would improve this."158 votes
Now supports one off classes, day rotation and expanded week rotation support (2-4 weeks as opposed to 2).
So that you can see what tasks are due for a class and on each day.7 votes
This was added in V2.0 of the web app, Android app and is coming to Windows 8 and Windows Phone in September 2013.
I've noticed the size of the live tile in Windows Phone 8 can only be enlarged to one size. It would be greatly appreciated and I'm sure not too difficult to allow it to be enlarged to a larger size (1 tile takes up an entire row). I rely on my phone to see my next class and would greatly appreciate to be able to see it on a larger tile7 votes
This was added early November 2013.
I suggest adding a progress indicator in the "tasks" screen, so that the user can choose what is more urgent to do.8 votes
This was added to the web app in version 2.0
Looking at my tasks, I am confronted with a long list of things, half of which I have already done, so it'd be great if tasks could turn green when complete.
And if the three task types had different colours or each task was the subject colour, again it would be really helpful at a glance to know how much work you have left.7 votes
A progress indicator for tasks (which turns green when complete) was added in the latest version of the web app :)
Allow us to choose whether the start day of the week is Saturday, Sunday or Monday.137 votes
This has been added in the latest update. Our blog has all the details: https://www.mystudylife.com/blog/announcing-holidays-and-improved-scheduling
Unbelievable; excellent app for free! Could you please make the timetable like the calendar app in Win8 (ie swiping from right to left makes the app go forward a week).
We have added swipe as of V220.127.116.11. I have created the other two ideas you mentioned as separate ideas here http://mystudylife.uservoice.com/forums/164881-general/suggestions/3641486-add-menu-bar-to-all-pages-in-the-windows-8-app and here http://mystudylife.uservoice.com/forums/164881-general/suggestions/3641475-add-type-field-to-exams
In the old version of the app, by tilting the screen you were able to quickly and easily view the week's schedule. This helps when you need to check if you are free for an activity that week, or what classes you have later that week, you just open the app and quickly tilt the screen .1 vote
This functionality has actually been enhanced for V3.0. The weekly timetable view is now present from the timetable screen and allows navigation through weeks.
Instead of clicking on the assignment/task in the task tab, there should be something there letting us know it has been completed.1 vote
This was added in the latest version of the web app and is being added to the Windows Phone / Windows 8 apps in September 2013.
For example, my school runs on a six day cycle.13 votes
Day rotation was added in November 2013 :)
On the home page, if you click on an assignment, it pops up the little box for the assignment (which is awesome), but it also directs you to the "tasks" page. Make it so that the assignment box pops up but also so that it stays on the home page, please!9 votes
This was added in the latest version of the web app (V2.0).
Make it easier for middle school students1 vote
“Overdue” tasks are now grouped in the latest version of the web app :)
Add an option for time formatting choosing from 12 or 24 hours.90 votes
This is now supported on all platforms.
If you downloaded the app from the nokia marketplace for example, you should be able to enter your log on details so you dont have to enter all of your classes all over again2 votes
Completed early 2013.
