Currently the task "type" has only 3 types. Please expand this list to include options like:
Maybe add a weighted grading system that you can edit and be able to set grade goals. Like, the homework category is 10% of your grade and such.12 votes
There is an app on Google Play named School Planner. You can add grades from tests that you did on a subject. It calculates the average, and you can choose the weight of the tests! My Study Life should do the same thing, and add email notifications in general.52 votes
It would be great if you could also add final essays/midterms to the exams column on the dashboard. Because I don't have any exams for most of my classes, there's a final essay instead, so I don't have anything in that column and my finals get lost amongst the other tasks.8 votes
it'd be really helpful if a feature was available to input teacher information (email, office hours, etc.)82 votes
I understand that a while ago you added new colors, but we really need more options!
Also, I think it'd be GREAT if you either changed the (Only) yellow to a brighter or prettier shade (At the moment it's not very bright or pretty) or add a new, brighter shade of yellow in addition to the other one.
I've seen a lot of people suggesting a color wheel, which also seems like a great option!
Thank you!6 votes
Please bring GPA input option for us. So we can track our GPA with this apps.
Thankyou ;)6 votes
Every time we have to open the task to mark it as complete, so it would be convenient if there was a checkbox to mark the task as complete.6 votes
For me, Friday is a half day (where I end at 1 pm instead of 3:10), and my classes are shorter. Normally, they are 80 minutes, but on Friday, they are 60 minutes. I would like a function where the schedule adapts to a certain day (change the original time to the adapted time).
If any of you don't understand, don't be afraid to ask for me to clarify!4 votes
We should have an option to change our schedule cycle to ABAB, not like ABCDE Monday 4/16 = A Tuesday 4/17 = B Wednesday 4/18 = A Thursday 4/19 = B Friday 4/20 = A THEN Monday 4/23= B Tuesday4/24 = A Wednesday 4/25 B Thursday=4/26 A Friday 4/27 B4 votes
I like this app far better than any other schedulers I have used. But one I used before had the advantage of a 'Teachers' tab that allowed me to add teachers, professors, and tutors in a phonebook-style database with phone numbers, email addresses, office hours, office addresses, et al4 votes
More of a bug/inconsistency if anything.
In the calendar classes can be scheduled to start at 10am and end at 11am, and then next at 11am and 10am, without being overlapping (as technically 11am end and start is overlap).
This is not the case when adding exams.
If I have period a ending at 12pm, and then period b which has an exam scheduled for it, the exam shows both period a and b as conflicting classes.3 votes
It'd be nice to:
- add a description to tests;
- to be able mark the days we didn't show up at one class (mark ours absences);
- to have a section where we could see our grades;
- mark days in which we don't have a specific class (not like holidays, they "delete" every class in the day);
- the reminders could be shown in calendar (month&week) view;
- add isolated events without having to create a class for it (like a championshipin a weekend).196 votes
Right now the earliest you can get a notification before a class or exam is thirty minutes, but an option for night before would definitely be much more helpful. Also if you could set more than one notification time.
Same thing for the tasks. Right now you need to input a specific time of day to get your task notifications but it would be nice if there were options to get notifications about tasks a few days prior to their due dates.3 votes
Currently, you are sorting classes by name. What if you could include a period number, and then be able to sort according to period.3 votes
Due date calandar w/ option of viewing only due dates, only assignments, only exams, or all simultaneously
Just like you can change the view from seeing your calendar as monthly, weekly, or today, it'd be great to create due dates- having the option to choose to see all the due dates you have, all the tasks you have, and all the exams you have show up separately or simultaneously on your calendar. but mostly I'd love to transfer a syllabus I have for school with all my assignment due dates onto my Study Life calendar and see a visual of all the due dates I have for the week, month or day.3 votes
Can you please add an option to add curriculum to subjects? Like we should be able to add what we're going to be doing in a class or what books we'll be using in a subject in a whole term/year.2 votes
I’ve been adding other activities besides my classes to show my whole schedule for the week. So as I list my other activities such as reading, working out etc... they’re all listed as classes.
Here are my suggestions as a happy customer:
Instead of classes being default, it could be listed as activities where you can choose either class, health, etc... so you can categorize your activities.2 votes
Just a random idea, but what if you can type down the marks/grades for every paper you had? It helps motivate me to try harder if I see my grades failing, or if it's in a steady track, I try to maintain it that way. Thought others might benefit from this.4 votes
- Don't see your idea?
